Custom Stacking Bangles Made with Leftover Diamonds

Our client, V, came to us with her and her husband’s diamond tennis necklaces that needed to be shortened. Since there were many leftover diamonds from the shortened necklaces, we decided to create two custom bracelets for V. The bracelets would showcase her personality and hold sentimental value as they would be made with diamonds from her husband.

V wanted a traditional diamond bangle bracelet that should could wear on any occasion, so the first bracelet we created was a classic hinged bangle. To add a customized look, we created a second bracelet with the letter "V" in the center to add a subtle personalization. These bracelets could be worn together for a stacked look or separately.

Once V approved the sketches, we got to work on the CAD designs.

After the CAD designs were finished, we printed wax models of the bracelets. Since it's difficult to size this style of bracelet, we also printed a plastic model so V could try on the bracelets prior to casting them in metal to ensure a perfect fit.

Once we confirmed the bracelets fit V's wrist, we proceeded with casting them in 14k white gold.

After casting, we polished and assembled the bracelets. These bangles featured a hinge to make them easier to take on and off the wrist. After assembly, the jeweler set the leftover diamonds into bracelets. The final step was to clean and polish the bracelets, and then we delivered them to V!
