Diamond Transformation: From Ring to Necklace

Our client, Lisa, wanted to create a special piece of jewelry for her aunt for her birthday! Lisa had an old ring of her grandmother’s, and decided to reimagine the ring to create a necklace her aunt could wear every day.

Originally, Lisa thought her aunt might love a pop of emeralds added into the design in a simple, bar style pendant.

Lisa and her personal design consultant decided to move away from the emerald bar look, and imaged up a unique, clean, hexagonal pendant that would be perfect for casual wear or a little black dress - a piece that would truly showcase the diamonds!

Next, BA jewelers removed all the diamonds from the ring to get exact measurements so the CAD could be created.

The CAD was then used to print the wax model:

The pendant was cast in white gold utilizing the wax model:

Diamonds were set, the pendant was polished - Voila! The special necklace was ready for Lisa to present to her aunt!
